| 1. How do you personally define socialism? |
Socialism is defined as following Lord Keynsian economic ideas whereupon government operates and runs the important means of production such as health care, banks, utilities, transportation, and other social services that are important to the country. The European community, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and many other countries have a socialist parliament government without campaign financing by special interest who buy the govt. and the party delegates. This is socialism and practice in Canada our closest neighbor. Free enterprise exist but not in an industry which is vital to the country. Social welfare and employees benefits are generous in providing the consumer with money and jobs to stimulate the economy by spending and circulating the money to the retailers to stay in business by having consumer spend and working. Socialism lies between total govt communist control and our capitalism of Adam Smith where you have little or no government running the country, such as the plutocrats in South America and U.S. |
| 2. Do you plan on running on the Socialist Party platform and the principles embodied in Socialism as Radical Democracy (including social ownership, worker control, and production for use -- not profit)? Is there anything in the Socialist Party Platform or Statement of Principles with which you disagree? |
No just clarification that the European community is a socialist govt. responsible to the people, "a govt. of the people by the people and for the people and the country." Not a country of capitalism "a govt. of the rich by the rich, and for the rich". Being able to abolish the govt. if it is not serving the people by having a "vote of confidence" if not satisfied to form a new govt. |
| 3. If you take any positions that differ from those of the Socialist Party, are you willing to make clear at all times that your views differ from those of the Party? |
Yes. |
| 4. In what way will your campaign take a working-class orientation? How will it differ from mainstream appeals to the working class? |
By having my campaign talks come down to their problems and needs and explain the cause of the problems in their language and comprehension. Simple solutions to simple answers. Just tell the truth and have the power. |
| 5. What would be the top three issues you would address in your campaign and why? |
- National health care, is a god given right not an insurance decision.
- Placing dental care on a national health care bill.
- Stop campaign and soft money, stop ear marking bills for extra favorite projects of the legislatures.
|
| 6. Please describe your position on the following issues. |
|
| 6a. Do you support a woman's right to choose? |
Yes. |
| 6b. Do you support Affirmative Action? |
Yes to include the white male who is discriminated in the affirmative action. |
| 6c. Do you support equal rights for non-heterosexuals? |
Yes. |
| 6d. Do you support equal rights for non-citizens? |
No. |
| 6e. To what extent do you support establishing a socialized healthcare system? |
National health care for all citizens and their children, illegal citizens, children born in the U.S. should not be citizens just because of birth in the United States should not be citizens due to birth in the U.S. Other countries follow this procedure. |
| 6f. How do you envision a socialist solution to the most common problems in the public school system (i.e., funding, assessment, and integration)? |
A national educational system run by the government, and not many school system as we have now run by the states. All school employees work for the national federal school system of unification. No more P.T.A. or citizens running the local school districts. Funding by the federal government as in Canada or Europe. |
| 6g. How do you intend to address living wages and affordable housing? |
Raise the minimum wage to a living standard of $15.00 plus /hour and rend control and federal housing projects construction. Do away with the wasteful foster homes and begin federal orphanages for children, to give them a better living standard and opportunity for growing up in a stable and uniform living environment. |
| 6h. How do you propose to address the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? |
Pull out and forget about controlling the Iraqi oil fields which is why we went into Iraq. If there was no oil in Iraq, we would not be there. |
| 7. Do you have any experience running for and/or holding public office? For what office(s) have you run? Have you ever run before as a Socialist? |
I have command position in the Navy and as port control and ship captain over many men, I have worked in the Pentagon and many responsibilities for the life of men under me. Politicians do not tell the truth in our capitalist system since they are beholden to the lobbyist and the soft money for campaigns. I have only been interested in changing our corrupt system of capitalism which is destroying our system from within. |
| 8. Do you satisfy the Constitutional requirements for being elected president of the United States (e.g., you are a natural-born U.S. citizen, at least 35 years of age, and have at least 14 years of U.S. residency [foreign military service notwithstanding])? |
Yes. |
| 9. To what extent are you willing/able to travel while campaigning? Do you have any personal commitments that would significantly limit the amount of time you can dedicate to campaigning (i.e., family, school, work, etc.)? |
I am single and no family after being married three times, no children. I am retired and not in school. Completely free to campaign on issues for Hollywood appearances, and to be on Meet the Press, Face the Nation, and any other public exposure to talk to the American people and to tell the truth about our corrupt system. Which has not been done. |
| 10. What strategies and/or methods do you think would be most effective in promoting your campaign? Do you have access to any community resources that might aid in publicizing your candidacy? |
- I would want to start with a Hollywood campaign to get movie stars for my campaign workers.
- I would like to appear on T.V. for debates and speeches to inform the public.
|
| 11. Are you comfortable writing campaign statements, speaking to large audiences (including the media), and participating in debates when opportunities arise? |
Yes. I am like akin to Ralph Nader in talking to large audiences 1,000 or more. When I tell the truth to the people since I am not beholden to special interest, the power of truth and my awesome personality and being able to deliver the solutions to all the problems and difficulties that have not been addressed by the politicians, we will have a tremendous response from the public by winning them over when they see and understand the truth. I talk already to many people in coffee shops, on the streets and whereever they are to engage them in conversation, I am well received and they express their thanks for the knowledge I impart and give them. |
| 12. What resources (financial, skills, etc.) do you bring to the SP Presidential campaign? And what resources would you request or need from the Socialist Party USA? |
I bring the message to the people and the solutions to our problems. I need the Socialist Party by my guidance to set up speaking engagements, interviews, debates, exposure to the public, through T.V. radio, ESPN, and whatever else brings me in contact with the public. I would need the backing of the Socialist Party to contact President Hugo Chavez, Venezuela President, Caracas, Venezuela. For help in campaign funds through "City Service Oil Company". |
